Kostelec company is one of the most traditional producers of fresh meat and meat products in the Czech Republic. Our story began 100 years ago, in 1917. As one of the biggest producers in Central Europe, we supply the markets with meat and a complete range of meat products with the main emphasis on the production of high quality salami. We are currently one of the leading producers of dry salami, especially of cured salami with natural fine mould, frankfurters, soft salami, smoked meat and canned ham. We are certified for ISO, IFS, BRC. Certified productions for Japan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus; our products are certified adequate according to processing specifications required by these countries.
Kotelec has an ideal conditions for producing the highest quality products: clean environment of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, modern technologies as well as a traditional approach to the butcher´s trade that has been passed on from generation to generation. The flagship product of Kostelec is cured salami with natural fine mould on the surface. In 2007, the plant Kostelec became a part of the Agrofert Holding, which is one of the largest agricultural and food-processing groups in Central Europe.
