Milan Škvor, Director of the Agricultural Division at AGROFERT, has been appointed a member of the Council for Industry Collaboration at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague for the term 2026 to 2028.

The purpose and main objective of participating on the board is to enable the professional sector to help shape the profile of graduates, whether through lectures, acting as external examiners for dissertations, or collaborating on the university’s European and local projects and subsequently applying the results of these projects in practice. This could open up opportunities for students – particularly those on PhD programmes – within companies in the form of work placements on commercial projects, for example in the field of AI applications in operations and managerial decision-making. Milan Škvor’s involvement in CULS activities follows on from the memorandum of cooperation that CULS signed with AGROFERT just under a year ago.
“The AGROFERT Group is a natural partner for agricultural higher education. Graduates from agricultural colleges and universities join our workforce. People from our companies, myself included, support Czech agricultural education so that it maintains its high standards and the profile of its graduates reflects the current needs of employers. “Digital technology, artificial intelligence and sophisticated machinery are transforming agriculture into a technologically advanced, modern sector where it is essential to keep up with the latest trends,” says Milan Škvor, director of AGROFERT’s agricultural division.
The AGROFERT Group collaborates with dozens of universities, colleges and secondary schools in the countries where its agricultural businesses operate, particularly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Romania and other countries.
