TOP HOP welcomed brewers from the Philippines to Hořesedly. The visitors were interested not only in hop quality, but also in processing, storage and soil care.
The visit included a tour of the processing plant, climate-controlled hop warehouses and the V.F. Humulus laboratory. The meeting provided an opportunity for expert discussion and for sharing experience in hop cultivation and processing.
Hops are one of the AGROFERT Group’s important agricultural commodities. AGROFERT is the second-largest hop grower in the Czech Republic, with hop fields covering a total area of nearly 850 hectares, primarily in the best locations of the Žatec hop-growing region.
The meeting in Hořesedly once again confirmed that, thanks to their quality, tradition and the expertise of Czech growers, Czech hops hold a strong position in international markets.
