AGF Nitrogen, a.s. has been established as a subholding company to closely coordinate all activities of the companies belonging to the AGROFERT Group’s pan-European chemical division. The objective is to generate synergies through economies of scale, improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. Employees, customers and business partners are not immediately affected by this change. Petr Cingr, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AGROFERT Group, becomes Chairman of the Board and CEO of AGF Nitrogen, a.s.

To enable Petr Cingr to fully focus on his new role at the helm of AGF Nitrogen, a.s., he stepped down as CEO of SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH effective 30 June 2026. He will remain connected with the company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, a role he intends to assume in the coming days. As of 1 July 2026, Carsten Franzke, previously the company’s Managing Director, took over as CEO of Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH, while the other members of the management team remain unchanged.
